Location Located 40 minutes from Sihanoukville and just 15 minutes from Sihanoukville international airport - Monkey Maya if perfectly situated on the deserted Ream Beach, a 2km bay, fringed with coconut trees and framed by a protected national park and ancient jungle.
Currently we ask customers to meet at Monkey Republic and take the airport shuttle bus ($6) – from there a free transfer service is provided to Ream Beach and Monkey Maya

*** BUNGALOWS ***Monkey Maya currently has 5 modern beach view bungalows, nestled between the white sands and the foothills of Ream mountain. Each one has a double bed, private bathroom and panoramic views of the turquoise waters enjoyed through a large balcony and full size French doors... Look out for monkeys visiting and enjoying the view for themselves on your balcony.
*** DORMITORY ***At Monkey Maya we want to make sure travellers of all budgets can enjoy the printing jungle and crystal waters, we have a 16 bed dorm (available at $5 per night) with breathtaking views out to see of the distant islands. The dorm also has a balcony to die for, furnished of course, with plenty of hammocks... Perfect for catching the breeze while enjoying a good book.

*** BAR & RESTAURANT ***The bar and restaurant at Monkey Maya is the jewel in it's crown... It sits atop the headland at the Eastern tip of Ream Beach, from it's breezy hilltop location panoramic views of the sun, sea sand, and jungle can be enjoyed. It's unique setting also enjoys both the sunrise AND sunset, Giant Hornbills, Dolphins and Sea Eagles are a common site, even from the bar stools...
Khmer and Western dishes are available all made from fresh produce from the local market. As you would expect, the bar is well stocked and the beers are always cold. Prices are similar to those in Sihanoukville (expect $1 beers, $2 house spirits and mixer and a good meal to set you back $4).
There are no ATMs near Ream Beach, so please be sure to bring enough cash to cover your bar tab. There are several cash machines near the pick-up point, so please ask our desk agent for assistance.
